Got an update that Van Gogh will be shipping back today. They put the wrong address down by one number, but as soon as UPS has it they said they will update to the new address. Wacom HQ, you are not winning points right now. .___.;

So a couple of days ago I received my tablet (which weirdly enough was still in the on position when it arrived in the box) and I charged it, anxiously eager to get started on the commissions I have under my belt. 3 hours into work (I managed to get the sketch stage of one of them done, thankfully at the time) I had taken a break for dinner by tapping the button on the side to put it into sleep mode. I've done this at least a bazillion times....
I finish my meal and I sit down to get started again, tap the same button to wake it back up and suddenly there's a backlit black screen staring at me in the face. Tried hard resetting it, everything...this black screen wouldn't go away....
After a day of IT troubleshooting with the wacom team, they have deemed it necessary to send my tablet back in AGAIN. I expressed to them that it's making me lose my confidence in their product as a whole as this is the third time since my purchase that this has had to happen to me. They offered to ship me a new tablet but that's not gonna do me much good as they will not transfer the data from my old tablet to my new one. So I've reluctantly sent it in for another repair trip.
I hate this cause it makes me look darn near unprofessional and it's even worse because I could have had my commissions done by now and been seeking further ones....the matter of my finances are wincing right now.
Just wanted to give an update out there. I apologize profusely and hope that when it finally does come back in, that it's good as new and I can get right to work. I've been sketching like mad with some ideas that I'm hoping like crazy to get out to you guys cause I'm super excited about it! Not to mention I'd love to get to work again.

Got an email confirmation that "Van Gogh" has arrived at the Wacom HQ for repair as of the 8th! Hopefully he gets back soon and I can get cracking back to work on some commissions! Thank you for everyone's continued patience with this whole thing. Hopefully this is an issue of the past and I can really get to work on a greater project that I have in the works! Don't worry..you'll all see soon enough. ^_~

So a couple of days ago I was charging up my tablet and shut it down for the evening...now it won't turn on at all and I've had to call it in for a warranty repair. It's a known issue for companions purchased around 2013 and it's done this to me before back in June. (kinda hoping they just give me a new unit as this one may be faulty)
I'm lucky that it's covered under warranty as it's a known issue, but the setback is it's gonna roughly take 2 to 3 weeks before it'll be received back in the mail. I guess Van Gogh is off to the spa!
I had a call tag sent out and it's been mailed out as of yesterday...So I wish him a safe return.
To anyone who has ordered a commission or paid in advance for it, I deeply apologize and those who have paid will be refunded fully until I can get the tablet back as it's definitely not fair to pay THAT far in advance if you're not gonna see anything from me for a few weeks. This is coming at a REALLY bad time considering what I intended to use this batch of commissions for..but..what can I honestly do if my machine won't even turn on?
I deeply apologize for the inconvenience this has caused...but I guess this has been a long time coming as for the past couple of months I've had a weird plug in ritual as a work around. It finally crashing was Van Gogh finally saying enough was enough I guess.
Hope everyone's having a great new year so far! Mine could be better. XD

Commissions OPEN!
Now that Inktober is behind us and the holidays are around the corner, I’ve decided to update my commission prices and made a graphic to show you how I break them down. What you’ll probably notice first is I’ve changed my rates for the first time in a decade. It’s been a long and hard decision to make, but I’m glad to finally be here.
I’m also announcing a few changes when it comes to commissions and deposits. New clients will have to provide 1/2 of the quoted total as a deposit before I begin working. If you’re a regular, but you want focus/priority over other rushing clients, I will need at least h
Inktober wrapping up soon!

I’m also going to do a sketchpad giveaway of the sketchpad that I used for Inktober! Just a neat little piece of art to hold onto. FOREVER.
Buuuuut I’m only gonna do the giveaway if I get 300 followers by the end of the month. So if you have a Facebook account and follow me here, run on over to my Facebook

Oh, and UPS has it? Good luck getting it; UPS is horrid here. It took something like 6 attempts for a recent package to be delivered (including a "business was closed" notice for a residential address and at least one time when they even forgot to put it back on the truck again....)
