Nabiki has dragooned Ranma into being a dress dummy for her new fashion business. She's not at all happy about it, but Nabiki distracts Ranma from her embarrassment by framing it as a martial arts challenge: "Hold these pin cushions while standing on your tippy-toes without losing your balance, all while I fit you for this dress." Nabiki eventually gets tired of Ranma's constant complaints about manliness, and convinces Ranma to include the spool of thread in her mouth as part of the challenge.
